Eight More Advertisers Pull Ads from Deranged Wonkette

Eight more advertisers today joined Papa John's Pizza, Huggies, and Vanguard Financial in expressing their disgust over Wonkette's evil and deranged Twitter attack on three-year-old Trig Palin, LifeNews reported. Joining the original three advertisers are: Bob & Evans Farms, Coldwell Banker, Deal Swarm, Holland America Cruise Lines, J. Jill, MetroPCS, Nordstrom, and Reliant Energy. Wonkette carried out the attack after Trig's mother, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin posted a birthday Tweet with a photo. The deranged attacks directed at Trig stem from extreme leftist resentment over the fact that Gov. Palin carried him to term. Fully 90% of pregnancies where the fetus is diagnosed with Down Syndrome are aborted. Wonkette is a hard-left pro-abortion site.
In our original coverage, we reported:
According to Ken Wheaton, Advertising Age, decent people from both the left and the right demanded that advertisers pull their ads saying the “post was beyond tasteless.”
“Know what doesn’t go over well with advertisers? Making fun of disabled children,” Wheaton wrote.
Wheaton's word ring loud and clear as 11 advertisers have now pulled out of Wonkette in a story that continues to develop.
