Rights vs. Privileges; Sarah Palin 2 the Rescue (AGAIN)

The left is quickly becoming infamous for inventing a right and then convincing a segment of the electorate that they are being denied a right which never existed in the first place.

As Americans we have: 1) The Bill of Rights & we have 2) Unalienable Rights (for the record, no matter what the self titled progressives say; unalienable rights DO NOT depend on sex, race, age, beliefs, popularity, the approval or disapproval of others, or a majority vote.)

Unalienable rights cannot be taken away. Because they come from our Creator (even though Barack Obama left the word Creator out while quoting from the Declaration of Independence at least twice now...Hmmm...).

If you happen to be an atheist, that's okay too. As Judge Andrew Napolitano points out "Jefferson wedded to the national soul the idea of the natural law, which basically says our rights come from our humanity."

The left (with the full support of the LSM) is working double time trying to convince the good people of Wisconsin that the evil Governor just took away workers rights.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. Collective Bargaining is a privilege, not a right. Nobody has the right to take State money unlimitedly.

Shame on the left for playing classwarfare when there are bills to pay. And shame on the LSM for pushing the lie along and condoning thuggery.

The most cushioned and coddled employees were negotiating with the very same politicians that they donated money to (with taxpayer dollars) and that they got elected. This is problematic at best. Kick-backs at worst.

Government workers have the same rights as everyone else. Included in our rights is the authority to petition congress.

Get real. Nobody would use collective bargaining privileges to ask for less; they use collective bargaining privileges to ask for more. More free things. More free things paid for by the taxpayer.

Taking the reins once again (and proving that she is the best man for the job) Governor Sarah Palin was the only leading Republican to correctly call Collective Bargaining what it really is. A privilege:

Politicians who continue to worry about their image, poll numbers, positives and negatives, and focus groups are becoming more and more disconnected with the majority of Americans.

The electorate is hungry for a candidate who will not be dictated to via the media.

America's borders must be secured. The leader who stands up, secures our borders, and enforces the laws already on the books will be called: RAAACIST! RAAACIST! RAAACIST!

America's entitlements must be reformed. The leader who stands up, and makes the hard choices to reform our entitlement culture will not only be called: RAAACIST! RAAACIST! RAAACIST! But they also have to endure being called COLDHEARTED!, MEAN SPIRITED!, and UNCARING!

America's abundant resources must be tapped immediately. The leader who stands up and has the courage to relentlessly DRILL NOW will be vilified in unison with cries of ANIMAL KILLER! GLOBAL WARMING DENIER! NATURE HATER! PLANET HATER! PARASITE OF MOTHER EARTH! and yes if they can find a way the Anti-Capitalist anthropogenic global warming obsessed chorus will probably invent a reason to scream: RAAACIST! RAAACIST! RAAACIST! too.

Seriously folks. Do you guys honestly believe that the GOP boys (Romney, Gingrich, Huckabee, Daniels, Huntsman, Trump, Barbour, Thune, Pawlenty) have the cojones to stand up to the media; no matter how loud they scream, cry, whine, shriek, holler, screech, and wail in unison over reforming Washington's untouchable, golden calves of protected interests?

COME ON! America is on the road to insolvency. We can't just hope for change. America needs real change.

It becomes more evident everyday that there is only one man for the job. And she is Sarah Palin.

Gov. Palin on Freedom Watch: No Namby Pamby Spending Cuts

Collective bargaining is a privilege, not a right; states must live within their means, and real spending cuts must be made to cut the federal debt, Governor Palin said tonight on Fox Business Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano. When discussing the high-volume rhetoric in the Wisconsin state capitol building, Gov. Palin recalled the full-page ads union bosses took out against her when she transitioned pension plans away from cost-prohibitive defined benefits. "Governor Walker did what he was elected to do," Gov. Palin said.

"The volume [on the rhetoric] is turned up too high - and someone is going to get hurt," Gov. Palin said about the graphic death threats lobbed at some GOP lawmakers in Wisconsin. Gov. Palin reiterated her criticism of the 14 Democratic State Senators in Wisconsin who retreated across state lines rather than do what they were voted into office for. "Voters want their governments to be run like a business," Gov. Palin said. She found it ironic that the union thug bosses could force governors nationwide to outsource or privatize state jobs that currently are performed by union workers.

Governor Palin also reiterated her assessment that Obama is is disengaged and disinterested in the federal budget and our out-of-control federal debt. She dismissed rhetoric about the government needing to shut down as political posturing and said that the federal government which takes in $7 billion per day needs to prioritize spending.

Gov. Palin dismissed as "namby pamby" a GOP proposal to cut federal spending by a mere $54 to $61 billion, which is slightly less laughable than the Democratic party's $4 billion in cuts. She supported Rand Paul's $500-billion per year proposal.

Gov. Palin noted that a key difference between the states and the federal government is that "states cannot print more money or devalue a dollar. Spending tax payer's money is a sacred trust," Gov. Palin said.

On Libya, Gov. Palin said that Gaddafi is a madman who should be punished or at the least contained and that our President should talk less and show more leadership on this matter.

One Mans Opinion

One Mans Opinion - 3/11/2011
By Dewaine Shoulders

You know, I normally hate emails. To me, they are usually bad jokes that I have seen since 1998 that have been passed around so many times it's not funny. Then again, every once in a great while, I get one I haven't seen, or one that strikes me either as funny, or makes me think. The following email just pisses me off that we elected (not I or many of us, but as a nation) this man to be our Community Organizer in Chief.
If you have seen this one already, read it again anyway.

He told us in advance what he planned to do. Few were listening.....

If you read this before--------read it again.
Yes, he told us in advance what he planned to do.
Few were listening.

The following is a narrative taken from a 2008 Sunday morning televised "Meet The Press'.

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008  11:48:04 EST,  Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

NOW GET THIS !!

'Senator' Obama replied:

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American
flag is a symbol of oppression.." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

(ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???)

Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'.  If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it.  In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love.  It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America    to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren..  If we, as a Nation of waring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ....."

When I become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past".

"Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the United States and I have put my hatred aside . I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path..My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family.  Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America "

WHAAAAAAAT, the Heck
 is that???

Yes, you read it right.

I, for one, am speechless!!!

Dale Lindsborg , Washington Post

EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NEEDS TO READ THIS, KEEP IT GOING ! !  SAVE AMERICA BEFORE IT'S
TOO LATE ! !

Pass this one on to everyone you know. Remind everyone what an inept
anti-American president they've elected. This is why we need to press
for his resignation... Or if he refuses to go, his impeachment!
Either way, he needs to be out of office before America is changed to
the point that it's unrecognizable.

But that's just my opinion, I could be right!

Gov. Palin on Hannity: No to Union Boss Thugs, Frivolous Spending

Gov. Palin tonight spoke out against union boss thuggery, Michael Moore's hypocrisy and frivolous spending through two segments of Sean Hannity's TV show. She regarded the leftist protests in Wisconsin as politically motivated. The state is a Democratic stronghold, and even a number of Republicans have benefited by union shenanigans, she said. Gov. Palin also said that the behavior of Democrats vis-a-vis the collective bargaining issue is reflective of their same behaviors with ObamaCare. She chided the 14 Democrats who left the state for "ducking and covering" rather than engaging in civil debate.
The union bosses - not the the good members - but the bosses are acting like thugs, Gov. Palin said. She recounted how she is a teacher's daughter, was a union member herself, and her husband Todd was also a union member. She said the union bosses with their demands are forcing governors nationwide to outsource.
Gov. Palin stood by her assertion that Michael Moore is a hypocrite. He regarded the GOP's actions in Wisconsin as being a "war on the working class," yet Moore does not use union labor in his movies.
On NPR and its CEO's derogatory statements about the Tea Party, Gov. Palin said she was glad to see video exposing an agenda she knew existed for years. She further added that spending on NPR, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for Humanities, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting was frivolous and these programs should be "on the chopping block."
Gov. Palin took no issue with Julianne Moore playing her in an HBO movie but jokingly said that perhaps Moore should pay for her daughters' braces since she "is pretending to be me."
On 2012, Gov. Palin said she is still contemplating and wants to see if there is a GOP candidate willing to tackle the debt, deficit, and national security issues. Gov. Palin noted that in her 20 years in politics, she was always the first one to enter the race, but is taking a different approach because of the monumental nature of this race.
On the battle over spending cuts with the GOP proposing $60 billion and the Democrats $4 billion, Gov. Palin said the talk should be about $500 billion. She added that the cuts should be pursued this year. "We need to be strong and bold and fight for cuts now, not take baby steps to ratchet down a $14 trillion debt!" Gov. Palin said Obama is disinterested in what the debt is doing to our country.

One Mans Opinion  3/9/2011

Before you read this blog, watch this interview with Sarah Palin on a recent Sean Hannity show.

Okay, Sarah Palin has yet to decide whether to run for the presidency or not. I'm sure in the coming weeks she will make a decision. Running for president is not an easy gig and it is a very hard decision to make.

But (and this is my own feeling), if and when she announces her intentions, watch the mainstream media go after her like never before. And also watch how the MSM treats the rest of the GOP candidates. I'll wager that all of them together won't get one-tenth the grilling as she will.

And that's because of all of the potential candidates, Sarah Palin has already been vetted more than any other potential candidate in history. And it's all because the MSM and the liberal left knows that if she runs, she could win!

And that makes them all the more vicious in their attacks, and it will only get worse from here. They will smear her and vilify her like never before. They (the looney left) can't stand the fact that if she runs, she could win in 2012. They will do whatever it takes to make that an impossibility. I'm saying that no matter what they try to do, she'll just keep on going and gather more and more supporters as she goes.

The MSM will talk about her quitting the Alaska governorship, when it was the loony left that helped that cause along by filing or having filed many frivolous lawsuits against her. She left the governorship to save Alaska the money and aggravation, not to mention saving her own family personal bankruptcy.

The MSM will talk about her lack of experience. Of course, she has executive experience already. Sarah Palin knows more about foreign policy and energy issues than our current Community Organizer in Chief knows now, not to mention what he knew while a candidate himself in 2008. And the MSM will surely try to make her a pariah, yet they will treat the men who run with far more respect (again, I'll wager that will be the case).

The MSM and the liberal bloggers will say that she isn't qualified to run the country, even though she was a governor and a business owner. Yet Obama, who has never held a regular job, was (according to the MSM) qualified to be president. Aside from his community organizing gig, and a teaching post, he hadn't done anything in his life to prepare him for the presidency. Of course, he was a senator from Illinois (but only voted present most of the time). His decision making skill were already evident, yet it was overlooked by the MSM.

They will vilify Sarah Palin as divisive, yet the current Community Organizer in Chief is also very divisive. He has torn this country apart in two years and is dismantling the constitution before our very eyes. What part of that will the MSM actually acknowledge? My guess is nada.

And they will go after her family, yet not do the same for any other potential candidate. I know they will surely not do so with the current occupant of the White House and his family.

The media bias will prove once and for all that they hate anything and everything about Sarah Palin... And that will just prove to me and many others that she needs to run for president in 2012... Because she can win!

And the MSM knows it too!

But that's just my opinion, I could be right!

Coming March 14th, One Mans Opinion returns to Internet Radio. Details forthcoming, so stay tuned.
