If Sarah Can Skin A Moose, She Can Skin A Jackass

By Saber

Our former Governor, Sarah Palin, in today's Wisconsin speech, mentioned how patriots are coming out of the duck blinds and down from the tree stands to take back America.

I and a friend, a lone Bushman, heard those words and it set my friend to thinking. My friend has never voted. He wanted to be left alone in "The Great Alone". This has been his deepest wish. His desire for isolation is due to the encroachments of the Federal Government and their regulations. He hides out thirty miles by horseback from the La Due Drainage in some of the roughest Alaskan back country known to man.

After Sarah's speech, he turned and asked me to take him to register to vote and show him how the process works. He stated, "I'm afraid if we don't take our country back during this next election, we will not have one."

Instinctively this man ,who comes from total isolation, knows that what he has loved and cherished for so long will cease to exist should we fail. He has heard her (Sarah Palin's) call!

I have heard her call! We have heard her call! We will come from the deepest hidden lands of Alaska to the Forests of the Adirondacks. We will come up out of the Cajun Bayous of Louisiana and the deserts and the hill country! You will see us come from the Heartland of America. We're here and we are coming to take America back!

Sarah Palin has earned our trust! That's not an easy feat. We Alaskans are some of the most independent and irascible people on earth. We are American Patriots. We are looking to hold onto the freedom of our Forefathers. We have watched our Country being dismantled, our businesses, large and small, driven into Bankruptcy and from our shores. We stood by our Government and died for our Country, but now we watch our Government apologizing to the enemy. The same enemy many of our brave Military men and women fought. Some even tragically died at the hands of these enemies.

As my friend was leaving, he saw my bumper sticker, "If she (Sarah) can skin a moose, she can skin a jackass." He looked at me and stated, " She sure skinned them Jackasses today! And from what I can tell, she's going to hang, skin and quarter some of them pachyderms on her game pole as well".

My next blog will deal with the Tee shirt I bought at Alaska Gun and Pawn. It says,
"My Governor's a woman and she's hot!"

Gov. Palin at Madison, WI Tea Party Rally: "Obama, Game On!"

"President Obama, Game on!" Governor Palin today said near the conclusion of her fiery speech delivered before tens of thousands and viewed by over 20 million on CBS's UStream channel. Madison, Wisconsin is "the front lines of the battle for the future of our country," Gov. Palin said. "The line in the sand" has been drawn. Gov. Palin said she is speaking as "a former union member, the wife of a union member, the daughter of school teachers, and as a tax payer."

"Union bosses protecting their own power is not real solidarity. The Tea Party is real solidarity," Gov. Palin said. "Courage is standing in the face of death threats...your governor did the right thing, and people still have their jobs because of it," she said about Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker whose bill removed collective bargaining privileges for public workers, but prevented massive state layoffs. She dismissed the budget cuts offered by Beltway insiders as capitulation.

"To the GOP establishment, if you stand on the platform, we will stand with you! We have your back!," Gov. Palin declared. "We didn't elect you to re-arrange the deck chairs on the sinking Titanic!" Gov. Palin praised female hockey players in Wisconsin and said the GOP should "learn how to fight like a girl!"

"Candidate Obama promised to cut the deficit in half. He tripled it!" she said. Obama "flushed $1 billion down the drain and bragged about jobs created in Congressional districts that don't even exist." On big government, Gov. Palin said, "we don't want it, we can't afford it and we are unwilling to pay for it!" She said that the economy will not recover through "solar shingles and very fast trains."

"All aboard the Bullet Train to Bankruptcy...Winning the Future? WTF is about right!" Gov. Palin said. "The only future [Obama] is trying to win is his own and he is mortgaging your children's future to do it. That's not the 'audacity of hope'! That's cynicism," she said.

"President Obama, you don't have our consent! You ignored the will of the people, when you rammed through ObamaCare...when you ran the deficit to $14 billion...supported government-funded abortions, but threw our brave men and women under the bus, started a third war we couldn't afford...and manipulated our energy supply while praising other nations' drilling," she said. "We're not going to get used to it! Not now! Not ever!"

"When the history of the Tea Party is written, what you accomplished will not be forgotten. We will take courage and we will take back our country. It starts here in Madison, Wisconsin!...President Obama, Game on!"

O4P Lit Drops, Reagan Conservatism, and "Atlas Shrugged"

Yesterday, the movie "Atlas Shrugged, Part I," based on the first half of Ayn Rand's novel by the same title opened in movie theaters nationwide. Tea Party groups organized group viewings and the Staten Island Tea Party was no exception.

Getting the notice late, I did an emergency run of O4P New York's Sarah Palin's Accomplishments booklet on my black and white laser scaled down to letter size. The booklet along with some O4P business cards became my lit drop. I arrived at the Regal Theater across the street from Staten Island's Forest Ave. Home Depot and went straight to work. Fully half of my brochures got distributed. I met old friends from the Grimm campaign and from the Staten Island Tea Party, and hopefully piqued interest in Organize4Palin.

Atlas Shrugged Plot Synopsis

Unlike most movies based on books, Atlas Shrugged remains faithful to the plot as written in the book and covers around the first two thirds of the book. The plot is set in an America crushed under socialistic policies. The Middle East has imploded, gas shortages have kept most people off the road, air travel has become unsafe, energy resources are readily available but locked up under insipid regulations, and the country is on the verge of collapse. Top producers "disappear" - in essence withdrawing their brains and contribution from the failed US and forming a new country based on laissez-faire capitalism. Indeed, much of what appears throughout the movie appears to be art imitating life and will resonate with any supporter of Gov. Palin. In this regard, Ayn Rand's words were prophetic, as our country appears to be headed down that path.

The Underpinning of Atlas Shrugged

To fully appreciate the movie, reading the nearly 1,000 pages of Atlas Shrugged is a must, as is an understanding of Objectivism and where it diverges greatly from the principles Gov. Palin and her supporters hold near and dear. Objectivism is a philosophy developed by Ayn Rand which holds that human beings are here for their own self-interest; "A is A" - a thing is itself and cannot convert to something else; a belief in laissez-faire capitalism; and a belief in atheism. Libertarianism shares some elements in common with Objectivism and the two are often confused. Many followers of Ron and Rand Paul (his first name most likely honoring Ayn Rand's surname) tend to gravitate toward at least some elements of Objectivism.

Where Atlas Shrugged Diverges from Reagan Conservatism

While Reagan Conservatism and Objectivism vis-à-vis Atlas Shrugged would be in concurrence on most fiscal issues, Gov. Palin and her supporters would find the social aspects of Objectivism to be absolutely repugnant and odious. Under Objectivism, for instance, all religion is dismissed as little more than pre-philosophy snake oil. Objectivists are pro-abortion, holding that a fetus is not a complete person, but resides in the womb only with the mother's permission, and thus is just a part of her body. Objectivists also do not believe sexual fidelity is necessary to love. In the book, Dagny Taggart had three affairs. In the movie, one of the affairs is depicted (no nudity, but the movie left nothing to the imagination as to what occurred), and the tacit message was one of approval. The protagonist was in a love-less marriage; he found love with Dagny, so the affair received a tacit stamp of approval. Ayn Rand lived in and was a proponent of "open marriage," so this view definitely carries through to Atlas Shrugged, both in book and movie forms.

In summary, as Gov. Palin's supporters, we should see Atlas Shrugged, and read the book to be aware of the elements that concur with Reagan Conservatism and the elements that diverge greatly. Certainly, Tea Party-organized viewings are excellent venues for Organize4Palin lit drops.

Gov. Palin Secures Restraining Order Against Deranged Stalker

Governor Palin has secured a new temporary restraining order against Shawn Christy, the 19-year-old deranged stalker who has been harassing and threatening the Palins and Kristan Cole, and who has made threats against Obama and Senator John McCain, according to widespread media reports. The current order extends two prior ones that were in effect for six months and 20 days respectively.

Gov. Palin will testify in court later this month that Christy threatened to rape one of her daughters - most likely Willow - and request that the restraining order be made permanent.

Christy's stalking included vulgar calls to Gov. Palin's home; sending the Palins receipts from a gun purchase and telling them of his intent to purchase a one-way ticket to Alaska. Christy in fact made a brief round trip to and from Anchorage at a cost of $700. Long-time staffer and friend Kristan Cole was also subjected to Christy's stalking habits and was granted restraining orders barring him from contacting her.

Human Events, Tony Lee: "Top 10 Reasons...to Dissuade Palin from Running"

Human Events 2012 Chase editor and columnist Tony Lee today wrote, "Top Ten Ways the GOP Establishment and Mainstream Media Try to Dissuade Sarah Palin From Running For President," which is the conclusion of his two-part series on why he thinks Gov. Palin is running for President in 2012.

Lee wrote the 10 reasons cited by the GOP establishment and the media for why they think Gov. Palin will not run are: kingmaker/queenmaker, "making money and being a celebrity," "too divisive" ("polarizing" is the word most often used), extreme, "not serious," "incites racism and violence," not doing things the traditional way, family to raise, cheerleader, and "you are (insert name of extremist with no chance of winning here)."

Lee then goes on to cite six reasons he believes these attacks make Gov. Palin stronger. In summary those are: she could run just on spite; if the GOP thinks her campaign would fail, her defeat would serve their interests; the attacks dilute her celebrity status, galvanizing her base; in a viciously anti-establishment cycle, the GOP would establishment would have tried to make Gov. Palin seem like one of them; the bar has been lowered to her political advantage; and by mocking Gov. Palin, should another candidate get the GOP nomination, her fervent supporters might stay home and not vote in the 2012 election.

Gov. Palin Makes Business Boom for Girls with Guns

When Governor Palin shot a caribou on Sarah Palin's Alaska, Episode 4 "She's a Great Shot", wearing a Girls with Guns Bucket Hat, its creators Jen Adams and Norissa Harman received a deluge of orders. The seemingly simple cap made Gov. Palin look like a SWAT sniper and became an instant sensation.

Jen and Norissa founded the Red Bluff, California-based Girls with Guns (GWG)in 2008 to create a feminine, sassy clothing line for women who hunt, shoot or just love guns. Their line is geared for the everyday outdoor gal. Hunting and shooting clothes for women is still a fairly new market. A part-time operation GWG expanded slowly for the first two years of its existence. The brand was ready to launch into Scheels Sports 17 stores nationwide, when Palin wore their hat on National Television.

February 8, 2010 proved to be a Providential day for both Gov. Palin and GWG's founders. Gov. Palin was the keynote speaker for two speeches three hours apart at the Sierra Cascade Logging Conference. The host, Nadine is a friend of Jen and Norissa. The duo prepared a package of goodies to be handed to the former Alaska Governor, but even with a friend hosting the conference, they did not know for months if the package actually made it to her hands. They saw Gov. Palin speak but never got to meet her. One day, several months later Mark Burnett Productions called asking for permission to use footage of Gov. Palin wearing their products in Sarah Palin's Alaska.

GWG Products are sold at the site's online store; at Scheel's Sports, a chain serving the north central/northwestern United States; and GWG's local retail location at The Loft, 501 Madison St., in Red Bluff, CA.

Ron Devito, Publisher, US for Palin interviewed Jen and Norissa for this exclusive feature:

Devito: Prior to the Bucket Hat being featured on Sarah Palin’s Alaska, how many units were you selling per month?

GWG: Our internet sales increased tremendously after the hat was featured on Sarah Palin's new Reality show! We received over 300 internet orders the first two weeks after the show's debut! This was more than we had received our first two years in business. Then the orders continued to come in consistently as the show was aired continuously by TLC and even now we receive orders for the brown bucket worn by Sarah Palin.

Devito: How is business now?

GWG: Business is great! Girls with Guns Clothing can now be found in 23 stores nationwide. Our main supplier is Scheels www.scheelssports.com. They feature our line in 17 of their stores. They are an awesome sporting goods/hunting store! We are also in five local Northern California sporting goods/Western stores. This coupled with the Sarah Palin rush and the International Sportsman's Expo in Sacramento in January, we are having our biggest year yet! We are looking forward to what 2011 has yet to bring!

Devito: Governor Palin for the past few years has awakened interest in hunting and shooting among women. It’s one reason why she won the NRA’s 2010 Sybil Ludington Award (Disclosure: I was one of three nominators in the entire country). Sarah Palin’s Alaska brought women hunting and shooting – and herself - into the living rooms of people who perhaps might see her from a lens other than politics. What would you say her effect has been on firearms, shooting gear, and clothing as marketed towards women?

GWG: She is such a strong supporter of hunting and a gun rights advocate as well as a successful business woman and mother. So many of us look up to her for those things! Not only that, but she has such a following of women who strive to adopt her qualities, ambitions and morals, that the items that she wears and promotes definitely are sought after items. We have seen that with the airing of her wearing our hat. It became a hot commodity!

Devito: I have noticed that in the major catalogs, such as Cabela’s and Gander Mountain, hunting and shooting clothes for women are still largely an after-thought garnering but a few pages. Most are adaptations of men’s clothes using various camo patterns. Would you say that Gov. Palin’s appearance with your products might awaken more major manufacturers into developing more innovative clothing and other shooting products for women?

Jen Adams with a Smith & Wesson Model .357 Magnum.

GWG: We can only hope that more products geared towards women in the hunting and shooting industry will be created! Our line does not yet feature hunting/camo clothing, but we do plan on incorporating the Mossy Oak Pattern into our line starting with our Summer 2011 and in the future.

Devito: What other observations do you have about Gov. Palin’s effect on industries pertaining to women and hunting, shooting?

GWG: Since the airing of Sarah Palin's Alaka and her public speaking at events such as SCI and NRA, she gained awareness in more woman to introduce them to the industry and show America that Hunting is not just a man's sport anymore! It can be an everyday family event.

Devito: What specific applications are GWG products best suited for? Shooting ranges? Hunting of specific species? Concealed Carry?

GWG: Our line is geared towards casual wear. We will be incorporating other applications in the future. Our fans continual support helps boost our business so we can provide bigger and better products.

Devito: The last several weeks, you were working on a summer line. What will it feature? When does it go on sale?

GWG: Our summer line features bikinis, board shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, and a variety of hats of all different logos and designs. It will be available on our website www.gwgclothing.com and Scheels nationwide in June 2011.

Devito: All your products are hand-made. As business continues to expand, will you be able to sustain this practice?

GWG: Until recently all of our products were hand pressed and embroidered in our garages. We are currently working with factories because we cannot keep up with the volume as our product has been in high demand since launching into Scheels Sports and with the appearance of Sarah Palin wearing our hat on TLC.

Norissa Harman with a Browning Citori 525, 12-gauge over/under shotgun.

Following the episode, GWG was also interviewed for The Learning Channel and by KRCR, a local TV station. Photos of Gov. Palin wearing the GWG Bucket Hat appeared in People Magazine and in US Weekly, as seen in this GWG Press Page.

Disclosure: GWG and US for Palin cross-promote one another.

This Friday; GO ROGUE! Then, GO GALT!

Many of us will be attending a Tax Day Tea Party this Friday April 15, 2011.

Our President and his culprits in congress are still ignoring our simple message: STOP SPENDING!

Today President Obama and his teleprompter took to the airwaves to play his favorite game: Using Class Warfare to pick your pocket....

Instead of listening to the electorate, President Obama proposed trillions in new taxes to bankroll the Democrat Party's progressive fantasy. Obama is shoving his Fairyland delusions of Big Government on us while we are struggling, gas prices are going up, and unemployment is shockingly high.

2012 can't come soon enough.

We must continue our fight to stop the reckless spending, and preserve the American free market structure.

Now is the time for us to lay the central groundwork necessary, and continue the battle to protect America from Obama's fundamental transformation.

This Friday (and beyond) GO ROGUE and talk to other concerned citizens; tell them about Organize4Palin (O4P). Get them to TEXT: 4PALIN to 74679 on their cell phones.

Share this link: Register with O4P: http://tinyurl.com/33r7fg8

Our growing army of David's will face Goliath in the coming days, weeks, months, and next two years.

Be bold and persistent; the path to prosperity will only be achieved through determination and hard work.

Finally, don't forget that something else happens this Friday. Many of us who share Sarah Palin's healthy Libertarian streak are very excited about the release of Atlas Shrugged. Click HERE to find a screening near you.

Why did it take Hollywood over 50 years to make a movie that is STILL on the best-seller list? (Can you even think of one best-seller not made into a movie?)

Why did Hollywood Talent Agents refuse to send stars to audition for the producers?

Why are there petitions demanding that more theaters show this film?

Why did the 1957 New York Times Book Review state that the book was "written out of hate"?

Why did 1957 East Coast politicians and the know-it-alls at Harvard/Princeton/Yale (the original axis of evil?) pound their fists and declare in unison that the book was: "RAAACISM RAAACISM RAAACISM!"......?

Doesn't this all sound familiar?

I don't know about you but I definitely want to find out why our alleged betters don't want us to see this movie.

GO GALT!

SarahPAC: "Look Ahead to 2012"

SarahPAC sent a letter to its donors outlining its agenda for this year and 2012. Having received the letter, following are its contents re-typed below:
2012 can't come soon enough.

I am so thankful for the American patriots across our nation who voted this past November to bring Congress back to the ideals of our Founding Fathers.

The White House and congress heard loud-and-clear that American's don't want cradle-to-grave government control of our lives. We don't want government bureaucrats deciding what kind of light bulbs we should use, what kind of cars we should drive, and which doctors can and can't care for us and our families. And we don't want our president continuing to manipulate the U.S. energy supply. What we want are the freedom and opportunities to make a better life for ourselves in this most exceptional nation on earth.

Taking back control of the House last year was only the first step, [donor's name]. Now you and I must fix our eyes on 2012. Our goal is to take back the White House and the Senate. We must also take back control congress and the White House in order to undo the damage done by the disastrous Obama/Pelosi/Reid agenda.

I'll be supporting commonsense conservative candidates in crucial off-year elections and doing all that I can to ramp up our preparations for 2012. And, I promise to join you in holding new members of Congress accountable to ensure that the live up to their campaign promises to rein in out-of-control government spending and to repeal and replace the massive, burdensome, and unwanted Obamacare bill.

Can count on your support as we look ahead to 2012?

I know what a sacred trust it is to be asking you to contribute your hard-earned money to SarahPAC. I take that trust very seriously, especially in these hard economic times. Bust there's so much at stake now - we are the most powerful country on earth and the world is better off because of us. Yet our own president and his liberal Senate seem determined to weaken us.

It's imperative that you and fight to end deficit spending...protect our free market entrepreneurial system...drill here and drill now for responsible energy independence...secure our borders...and strengthen out national defense to stand up to Islamic extremists and other enemies of America.

If you want to help me lay the crucial groundwork, plese use the enclose reply form to send your best gift possible to SarahPAC today, [donor's name].

Thank you for joining me in the fight to keep America the country we know and love!

With an Alaskan Heart,

Sarah Palin

Tony Lee, Human Events: Top 10 Reasons Palin Running for Prez

Human Events Chase 2012 Editor and columnist Tony Lee today listed and explained his Top 10 Reasons Gov. Palin is running for President in 2012. His list incorporates statements made over the past two years in various venues.

The reasons include: Gov. Palin's positions on pension reform, labor unions, and Israel; the need for the Tea Party to pick a party; the birth certificate distraction; Gov. Palin being the anti-McCain, Obama, and establishment; foreign trips; and twice saying that she could beat Obama.

Lee's Top 10 list is the first of a two-part series on why he believes Gov. Palin is running. Part two will "focus on how the Republican establishment and the mainstream media have inadvertently colluded to make Palin more formidable than she would have been otherwise," he wrote.

All My Friends are Warriors

It seems that most the people I call friends are former military people or people who have a connection in some way with people in the military. I gave this some thought the other day. Why I would gravitate toward people with a military back ground? It seems that these people have a unique outlook on life that you will not find in the general population. Most of these folks have seen the best that life has to offer, but a lot of people can say that. What these warriors all have in common and different is that they have seen the worst that life has to offer and they rose above it.

My friends have gone into harms way to protect their family, friends and country, knowing full well there was a good chance they would never see home again. They embrace life, but also stood toe to toe an eye to eye with death. They never blinked even if it meant they would die. They realized that there was something bigger then themselves and that what they left at home was worth dying for in some strange and far away land.

They are a tolerant people because they have fought the intolerant. They are a compassionate people because they have fought against cruelty. When they see the American flag, they see more than a symbol, they see home, and when that flag is being whipped around by the winds of war, they are there to hold it steady. Yes G-d has blessed me with such friends, an G-d has blessed this country with these fine men an women. So when the days seem dark, always know they are out there, because these are people who do not fear the dark. They are my friends.

Envisioning the Palin Presidency

-from Liberty's Lamp

Fast forward to the early part of 2013 and envision what a Palin administration might look like as Sarah Palin begins her presidency by tackling the most serious financial issues our country has had to face since the Great Depression and the most serious military issues our country has had to face since the Cold War. The concept of a Palin presidency cannot be understood through the filter of a mainstream media which has portrayed a grossly inaccurate picture of who she really is. The real picture can only be painted in the minds of Americans who truly want our country to pull itself out of the ditch and renew itself again.

Should Sarah Palin run, she will have to remake herself in her own true image rather than create an image to counter the damage done by the media and establishment types within her own party. A potential Palin campaign has plenty of material to work with starting from her 2008 VP nomination acceptance speech, her two books, her speech in Hong Kong, her trip to India and Israel, the Searchlight Nevada speech, the Glenn Beck Renew and Restore speech and an archive of great appearances on the Fox News Channel to work with.

In other words, Palin is a candidate whose real image is better than the one portrayed in the media and better than any image a PR firm could manufacture for her. She is the real deal. Selling that to reasonable people should bring her back up in the polls. By comparison and contrast, her enemies will demonstrate by their vitriol and their deranged actions how they’re the ones that are light on the gravitas and worthy of the kind of mockery once directed at Palin.

The key will be to box in the ideologues on the Left. Once we accept the fact that the Obama kool aid drinking class cannot be sold a Palin presidency, we can eliminate that market and target the rest of America. This may rub intellectuals, elites and liberals the wrong way, but the fact is they are a minority of the electorate who can no longer convince moderates to form a winning coalition because their record over the past two and a half years is a disaster filled with growing debt and weakening American stature abroad.

Independents and moderates want to win. They want America to win. They may have thought hope and change was the answer, but now they are finding they were duped. They may not view Palin favorably yet, but put her side by side with Obama and they’ll see the choice for what it really is. These people made up part of the flag waving crowds that cheered for America during the Reagan presidency.

Conservatives are set on finding a nominee that will stand strong on fiscal and national defense issues. The liberals want nothing to do with fiscal responsibility and American exceptionalism. The people in the middle simply don’t want four more years of what we have just been through.

Americans were not comfortable with the idea of a Reagan presidency going into the 1980 elections. They didn’t like the job that Jimmy Carter was doing. But, they needed to see Reagan unfiltered by the press, thinking on his feet and responding to a difficult question about Medicare during the final presidential debate before accepting him as the alternative to Carter. That “there you go again” moment didn’t bring flocks of voters into the Reagan camp. It simply convinced flocks of voters that their vote against Jimmy Carter wasn’t that risky.

Many will weigh the idea of four more years of reckless spending and transformational progressive policies versus choosing a leader who has been portrayed as ditsy, uninformed and a policy lightweight. If the media caricature of Palin was true, surely those who really know Sarah Palin wouldn’t spend the time pushing for her candidacy.

The media has been able to control the public perception so much so that the country elected an unqualified man with no executive background based on delusions of grandeur and rejected a self made woman whose successful past was overlooked because it was easier for the public to digest “I can see Russia from my house” and “hope and change” than it was for them to get any real information from media about Obama’s associations and Palin’s record in Alaska.

Now is the time to break that media hold over the minds of Americans and present to them the unfiltered version of Sarah Palin. The mental conditioning she has had to endure in order to stay confident in the face of a headwind of media vitriol makes her even more qualified for the presidency than she would have been had she been given a cakewalk to the White House. If there is one thing that can ease the worried minds of Americans who still have that doubt about a Palin presidency it is the fact that she is the most vetted candidate in history and that she has been time tested to handle adversarial forces that would want to take her down both from within and abroad.

Americans need to be able to picture a Sarah Palin who is working with Paul Ryan on a House proposal to cut the deficit, balance the budget and reform entitlements. They need to be able to see her working with a Republican Senate to prepare the financial recovery and debt reduction act for committee and ultimately to be sent to her desk for signing. If she is able to also get a comprehensive energy policy which opens up drilling along with the financial recovery plan, she opens the door for industry and business to create jobs and wealth for a country that hungers for the days of the Reagan recovery.

The wealth that Palin needs to pay down the debt sits untapped in the ground right now. The productivity that Palin needs to bring down unemployment sits idle in machine shops, construction companies and a service industry that could be receiving a tremendous collateral boost from an awakened industrial giant that seeks to tap into all of our natural resources and get it to hungry markets here at home.

As we cut spending, reform entitlements and stabilize our budget, world markets will begin to respond positively to America again. The stock market will go through a correction early in a Palin presidency as it weans itself off of crony capitalism and finds entrepreneurial investing a refreshing return to the way things used to be done on Wall Street.

There is no delusion that Palin will eliminate the debt and restore the country in four years. There has been too much damage done. Righting this ship will require us to not only give Palin two terms, but to constantly remind ourselves that we can’t go back to business as usual the way we did after Reagan left office.

Putting Palin in the White House is only the first step. The restoration and renewal will have to come from within. It will have to be built culturally, intellectually and in academia. Americans don’t need to be taught how to be free; they just need to be put into an environment where they are free. This will be the role of the culture, the intellectual community and academia. This is where the real conservative infiltration will have to take place.

America will be able to feel proud again with Palin as president. It will be able to feel productive again. It will see a brighter future with each passing year as the needles on the deficit and debt go down. There will be tangible progress seen over the course of a decade. The liberals will scream and kick, just as they did under Reagan. But when Reagan was successfully leading the U.S. into prosperity and defeating the Soviet Union in the Cold War, was anyone really listening to the liberals back then?

Who Burned The Koran Back Then?

By Robert Wiles

I remember September 11, 2001 vividly. It was during a break from work that I was sitting in my truck listening to the radio and working on a crossword puzzle. As I concentrated on figuring out the puzzle, trying to emulate my dad's intelligence, I heard the following over the radio: A plane has crashed into one of the Twin Towers in New York City. As I listened, all I could think about was how horrific that an accident like that could occur. What a tragic accident. As I headed back to work, I heard someone else state "another plane slammed into the other Tower". I immediately knew that this was not an "accident". We are all aware now that it was not an accident, but an act of terrorism. The next news I heard was about the Pentagon and the plane going down in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. We saw the footage of men and women jumping out of the Twin Tower buildings and the heart breaking 911 calls. Yes, that date is embedded in the American mind. All we could ask was why?

Here's the answer to the question: Terrorism. We, America, were attacked by terrorists who are part of an Islāmic front called Al-Qaeda, led by Osama Bin Laden. Americans have seen what transpired after that horrific event and since then. I have one question. Who burned the Koran on September 11, 2001? On February 26, 1993, Islāmic terrorist detonated a car bomb in the Word Trade Center's basement garage, killing six and injuring more than 1,000. Who burned the Koran back then? On January 23, 2002, on his way to an interview, correspondent Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and later murdered. His decomposed body was found on May 16th 2002 cut into ten pieces. Who burned the Koran back then? Remember December 21, 1988? A Boeing 747-121 was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland while in flight from London's Heathrow Airport to New York's John F. Kennedy International. All 243 passengers and crew members were killed, plus 11 people on the ground. We later learned that Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya orchestrated this attack. Who burned the Koran back then? We could go on and on, but suffice to ask, who burned the Koran back then? I believe that if we take a look at the nature of these attackers, we soon learn that if one does not live or believe a certain way, you are labeled an "infidel". If you're an "infidel" you die.

Why do I ask "Who burned the Koran back then"? Lately, we have seen many innocent people killed in Afghanistan allegedly because of the Koran burning act of Pastor Terry Jones of Florida. The Koran is considered the word of god to the Islāmic faith, just as the Bible is the Word of God to Christians. We can have that debate for ages to come. I have seen my Holy Book (Bible) burned throughout the world, but I have not seen Christians behead another human being. Yes, we can go back through the centuries and see wrongful acts done in the name of Christianity. But those acts were done due to the lack of man's knowledge of God's Word and/or his twisting of it. Many say that God "hates the sinner". I beg to differ. God hates the "sin" but loves the sinner. I know, I'm one of the "sinners". I believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ, but I'm not going to kill anyone because they don't believe as I do. In my Christian teaching, I am taught to love the sinner, not judge them. I'll leave that up to God, I certainly am not Him. One can burn my Bible and damn my God, but there's one thing you can rest assured of, you will not die by my hand because of it.

I simply do not understand the actions of the extreme Muslim faith ( let me be clear, not all Muslims follow extreme teachings or doctrine ) There is a hate for Israel, the United States and anyone who does not believe in their way of thinking. I question "honor killings", stoning of women, sharia law and so on. God gives us a free will, we should not have others impose on us what God Himself doesn't. He gives us the choice, follow my path or don't follow. Plain and simple. Atrocities have been performed by all religions because people have taken it upon themselves to play the role of God. So, I'll keep living out my Christian teachings as well as I know how. No, I'm not perfect, but I believe in the One who is. You can burn my Bible all you want. You need not fear me. If you fear my God, it's not us Christian's instilling that fear, it's your conscience.

Gov. Palin on Pirro: "Everything Fair Game for Budget Cuts"

"Everything is fair game" for budget cuts, Governor Palin said last night in a two-segment interview on Justice with Judge Jeanine Pirro. "The Tea Party wants government to be smaller and smarter," she said. The federal government grew by over 28% and only 1% was cut. The Tea Party did not get what they wanted, Gov. Palin said.
Judge Pirro asked if the Democrats' characterization of cutting funding to Planned Parenthood as anti-woman was a harbinger of things to come in 2012. Gov. Palin said "it is along the same lines as calling the Tea Party racist and it is a preview of what's to come in 2012."

Gov. Palin said Obama "used our troops as pawns and leverage" and "would not go to bat for them when he vowed to veto the bill that would fund them." She said it reveals that Obama is willing to play games with our military to get what he wants.

In response to Judge Pirro's question about the consequences of not raising the debt ceiling, Gov. Palin said, "If the debt ceiling is not raised, there will not be an economic collapse. The federal government takes in $6 billion per day....it does not need to shut down." She added that raising the limit is tantamount to no limit and we will only dig ourselves deeper in debt. "We will be beholden to and owned by other nations," Gov. Palin said.

Gov. Palin also said that everything is fair game. "Even Social Security must be cut. It's like a pyramid or Ponzi scheme," she said. Not enough people are paying into the system. Gov. Palin said Social Security can no longer be considered "a third rail of politics that cannot be touched." The alternative is for the country to go bankrupt, and be owned by other nations. Then there would be no Social Security, Medicare, or other entitlements at all.

Gov. Palin said national defense and other priority items necessary for the government to function must be fully funded. She said the Ryan proposal was a good start and praised Sen. Paul Ryan's courage in proposing it, but it does not go far enough and is not aggressive enough.

Judge Pirro asked Gov. Palin about recall efforts underway in Wisconsin against those who supported Gov. Walker's position on collective bargaining for public workers. Gov. Palin said she is not surprised, because of the lies ginned up by the left and by the media. She said people should be storming state capitals for irresponsible spending, not for cutting spending.

Judge Pirro asked Gov. Palin what she thought about Donald Trump's possible 2012 Presidential run and his pursuit of Obama's birth certificate. "I appreciate that the Donald wants to spend his resources to get to the bottom of something of interest to him and so many Americans, that President Obama spent $2 million to not show. More power to [Trump]," Gov. Palin said. She added that she thinks Obama was born in Hawaii, since his birth announcement did appear in a local newspaper there.

When asked about Trump's proposal that we take Iraqi oil to be compensated for the cost of liberating them, Gov. Palin said that while she likes the idea of being compensated, "I would rather drill here in Alaska, ANWR, off-shore," and use our domestic resources.

On 2012, Gov. Palin said she has not made a decision yet, and that more candidates in a contested primary is better. "Competition makes everyone better," she said.
