Gov. Palin Issues Statement on Upcoming Israel Trip

Governor Palin today posted at SarahPAC, her official statement pertaining to her scheduled trip to Israel, which will follow a significant speech to be delivered at the India Today Conclave:
"I'm thankful to be able to travel to Israel on my way back to the U.S.," Governor Palin said. "As the world confronts sweeping changes and new realities, I look forward to meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the key issues facing his country, our ally Israel."

This is Governor Palin’s first international trip in three months. In December of 2010, she visited Haiti on a humanitarian mission with the Rev. Franklin Graham. In 2009, Gov. Palin traveled to Kosovo and Germany to visit U.S. troops as head of the Alaska National Guard and later addressed a conference of international investors in Hong Kong. Gov. Palin also visited the Middle East in 2007 when she traveled to Kuwait and Germany to meet with troops and conduct re-enlistment ceremonies.
